Hutchies was proud to be selected to undertake the redevelopment of The Ville Resort and Casino in Townsville. We were identified as the preferred builder on the basis of our local presence and subcontractor network, combined with our ability to handle the significant scope. With works including three new restaurants, a poolside function space for 700 people, an infinity edge pool, and elevated deck to connect the pool and lobby spaces, the project was a significant undertaking both in size and technical proficiency. The completed facility represents a landmark venue for locals and tourists alike.

Significant demolition works of the existing marquee and pool area were required in preparation for the refurbishment. Hutchies constructed a new function centre with all the required building services including full catering kitchen and amenities. The refurbishment also included an extension to accommodate a new gymnasium, as well as the new elevated deck on level three. An additional extension was built to accommodate the new Quarterdeck restaurant, terrace and other outdoor dining areas. Works included fitout of the Miss Songs, Palm House and VIP Gaming areas.
