On the strength of our work on the Adelaide Street refurbished Student One residences (featured below), Hutchinson Builders was selected to build a brand new development at 38 Wharf Street (on the adjacent corner) in the heart of Brisbane's CBD. The 41 storey tower will boast stunning views for many of its 750 residents, who will also enjoy the benefits of a unique student living experience. Abundant with spaces for study, group meetings and socialising, the communal areas at Student One Wharf Street include a library, music rooms, rooftop garden, outdoor media space, gym, outdoor barbeque and two laundries.

Completed in 2016, the opposite Student One residences complex at 363 Adelaide are an outstanding example of Hutchies' inner city refurbishment capability. The modern design offers a new level of student accommodation, with a range of premium living options for up to 687 occupants. Hutchinson Builders worked with our Client to re-purpose the existing office building to help create the unique Student One experience. From single and twin studios to single rooms in five bedroom apartments, the thoughtfully appointed rooms feature air conditioning, high ceilings and blackout blinds, with many including ensuites. Communal areas incorporates breakout spaces, media rooms, gym, outdoor barbeque and communal kitchen. There are also 160 car parks for rent.
Each of the Student One residences is architecturally designed with special consideration made to ensure spaces to relax, study, engage, shop, connect and play are integrated throughout for all residents to take advantage of.
